Winds of Change...

Are the winds of change in progress? Last week I was told that my current profession would not keep me on as a Remote Coder. I was really excited that they were thinking about it, and it sounded promising, but last week I was given the bad news. It's strange because they actually have another person doing the very same thing I was trying to do for them. I take it personally because of that. Additionally, I have stumbled upon a new profession that I feel could afford me more time in life, while still making good money. North Carolina however, has placed a huge wall up for this profession, the only ones to do it, to where it makes it impossible to get into that field. Both of these were made clear to me in the same day. Talking about the winds of change...talking about it...pros and cons, pros and cons. Time to reevaluate.
