New River Kayak Camp Trip parts 1-4

Parts 1 through 4 are now viewable on youtube and perhaps by the time some of you see this post, there will be more added. It's crazy how the time flies. In some sense, it seems like it was just yesterday we were on the trip, and in other ways, it seems so long ago. I do still think about it, and for some reason have a really hard time remembering parts of it...thank goodness for video! My videos aren't my best, but I went on the trip to grow me, not a youtube channel, and so I focused on my growth more than recording. I did happen to get a lot of video, but learned I needed much more. Next trip, I'll be sure to pick up more. Regardless of how much I did or did not get, I surely picked up some great shots along the way, enough to tell enough of my story without it getting too strange along the way. I'll say this again, it has taken me several weeks to fully recover and readjust. The trip was big for me. The friendships I formed have cause me to think a lot about what I don't have back here where I live. My current town isn't exactly the greatest place to live and I think we can do better. There are many hurdles to overcome, but that may be for another blog post. I may try to include that into a video series, although letting the cat out of the bag on my plans could cause consequences to occur prematurely where I am. So let the challenge begin...
