Move to NC update

While an interstate move pending a home sale, highs and lows are drastically exacerbated! My truck is sold, my kayaks are sold, and a garage sale was had, in which most everything else I had was sold! To add to the "excitement", we have a 14yr old who has decided she is an adult overnight. A shining star, the brightest of them, marching in place with pride and integrity, now on the move across the sky. I steady eye is needed. The stresses mount...and mount. The atmosphere is thick in the house, as we have had our house for sale since the first week of October, and yet only had 1 looker. Positivity wins the day, they say, but positivity isn't always the easiest to portray when the checkpoints are more and more difficult to reach. All of this can turn around in an instant, and joy can be ours simply with a reasonable offer on the house. I expect this at some point. Our plan is to have it sold early next year (2018) and be moved by the summer, with still enough time to enjoy some outdoors activities, as we will desperately need them, to reset, to rebuild strain relationships, and to freshen our bones, and revive our weary minds. However, as Mike Tyson might have said..."Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face!" We have taken some gloves to the face, but we are still standing. I'm believing that we will make it past round 12. Thankfully, we have some good friends in our corner. Head down, one step at a time, one day at a time, and eventually we will be there. I think the idea is to keep busy, and focus on building our relationship here at home, and in NC. Swim, sink a little, and swim again. Fight, get knocked down, get up again, and keep the eye on the prize, the end goal. I'm not sure how else to go about it, but to just go about it. To believe it will be completely easy, would be to believe that life is something that it is not, and honestly if it were too easy, something wouldn't be right. Gotta see the positive today...need to speak positive, see it in my mind, see it working out, see the smiles if we get there...WHEN we get there.....
